A simple exercise with almost immediate returns, Battle Ropes works your arms, back, chest, legs and core. It is an excellent cardio alternative to running or swimming. Dr. Clugston does a 30 minute Battle Rope routine two or three times a week and says it's a great way to burn fat and pack on lean muscle mass.
